Automated Cutting, Weighing & Stacking

S&H offers automated machinery for cutting, weighing and stacking ensuring the precise loading of the presses.

The automated unit consists of the following devices:

• Unwinding device for unwinding material from rolls or big rolls. Film removal device is integrated in the machine.
• The cutting table cuts unwinded material in sheets with defined geometry according to the material receipe. The cutting bridge offers precise cuts without the risk of sheet displacement. The cut pieces are precisely positioned for the handling robot.
• The handling robot picks up the material sheets and stacks them on the scale table to start the weighing process. The last loading compensates weight differences by adjusting the dimension of the last piece prior during cutting.
• The stack is transferred to load the press mold using a handling robot equipped with a gripper adapted to the product specific dimensions.
